LOCATION & CONDITIONS: Las Rozas (Madrid) - Spain. 12 ºC
EXPOSURE: 35 X 300 sec. (Total: 170 min.)
CALIBRATION FRAMES: 22 darks, 20 flats
AQUISITION & PROCESSING: MaxIm DL, Images Plus, Photoshop CS3

COMMENTS: First light with the FSQ (from my light poluted backyard).

EXPOSURE: 15 X 300 sec. (Total: 75 min.)

COMMENTS: M81 is one of the most beautiful examples of a spiral galaxy, with perfect arms spiraling into
it's active galactic nucleus. M82 was previously believed to be an irregular galaxy. However, in 2005, two
symmetric spiral arms were discovered.
